Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for LoopVideo
Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to LoopVideo ("we", "us", "our"), an AI-powered video looping and processing platform available at loopvideo.app. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

By using LoopVideo, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our services:

2.1 Account Information

  • What We Collect: Your name, email address, profile picture (when signing in via Google), and any other information you provide during registration.
  • Purpose: To manage your account, provide customer support, and enable AI features.

2.2 AI Generation Data

  • Browser-local video: The original uploaded video remains in your browser. The normal loop preview and final concatenated loop are created locally and are not uploaded to LoopVideo storage.
  • Boundary frames and transition: For an AI seamless loop, the browser extracts the ending and starting boundary frames. LoopVideo temporarily stores those boundary frames, sends them to Kie with a fixed internal prompt, and stores the generated transition long enough to deliver it to your browser.
  • No user text prompt: The current seamless-loop workflow does not collect or accept a user-authored text prompt.
  • Task records: We store limited task status, result references, credit or free-use status, and timestamps needed to deliver the service, show history, restore failed credits, prevent abuse, and investigate support issues.

2.3 Usage Data

  • What We Collect: Information about how you interact with LoopVideo, including features accessed, pages visited, actions taken, and usage frequency.
  • Purpose: To analyze user engagement, improve our services, and optimize user experience.

2.4 Device and Technical Information

  • What We Collect: Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and device fingerprint generated via FingerprintJS (an open-source browser fingerprinting library).
  • Purpose: To optimize our services for different devices, ensure compatibility, and prevent abuse of free usage limits. Device fingerprinting is used solely for rate-limiting and anti-abuse purposes.

2.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • What We Collect: Small data files placed on your device for authentication, session management, language preferences, analytics, and affiliate tracking.
  • Purpose: To maintain your login session, remember your preferences, measure service usage, and track affiliate referrals.

2.6 Payment and Billing Information

  • What We Collect: Subscription status, plan details, credit balance, order history, and payment status. Actual payment processing (including credit card details) is handled by our payment partner Creem — we do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Purpose: To process transactions, manage subscriptions, and provide billing support.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain LoopVideo services.
  • Process AI seamless loop generation and other video processing tasks.
  • Manage your account, subscriptions, and credit balances.
  • Authenticate users, manage sessions, and prevent abuse.
  • Process payments and manage billing through our payment partner.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., email verification, account notifications).
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our services and user experience.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.

4. Third-Party Services

LoopVideo integrates with the following third-party services. Your data may be shared with these services as necessary to operate our platform:

ServicePurposeData Shared
CreemMerchant-of-record payment processing and subscriptionsEmail, order details, payment and subscription status
Kie APIAI video transition generationEnding and starting boundary frames, fixed internal prompt
Cloudflare R2Temporary AI-workflow file storageBoundary frames and generated transition clips

FingerprintJS OSS is an open-source library that runs in the browser. LoopVideo transforms the resulting browser signal into a one-way abuse-prevention hash; we do not send that signal to a hosted FingerprintJS service.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Retention

We keep data only for the service, security, support, accounting, tax, dispute, and legal purposes described in this policy:

  • Original and final videos: The original uploaded video and final concatenated loop remain in the browser and are not retained in LoopVideo server storage.
  • Boundary frames and transition clips: Stored only as needed for generation, delivery, service reliability, abuse prevention, and support. We do not publish a fixed automated deletion period until the corresponding storage-lifecycle controls are verified. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Task history: Kept while needed to provide account history, support, abuse prevention, failed-credit restoration, and legal compliance. An expired file link may remain visible as unavailable until its task record is removed.
  • Account information: Kept while the account is active and removed or de-identified after a valid deletion request, except where retention is legally required.
  • Abuse-prevention data: IP and browser signals are transformed into one-way hashes and retained only for the limited period needed to enforce free-use and security limits.
  • Payment, refund, and subscription records: Kept for accounting, tax, payment dispute, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. LoopVideo does not store full card numbers.
  • Support correspondence: Kept while needed to resolve the request and any connected billing, safety, or legal issue.

To request deletion or ask about a specific retention period, contact support@loopvideo.app. A valid legal hold or statutory obligation may delay deletion of the affected record.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our infrastructure partners. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
  • Access controls and authentication for data at rest.
  • Regular security reviews and updates.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your data.
  • Service providers: With trusted third-party partners listed in Section 4 who assist us in operating our platform, subject to confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal obligations: To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
  • Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

LoopVideo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide our services and fulfill our Terms of Service (e.g., account management, AI generation, payment processing).
  • Legitimate interests: Processing for our legitimate interests in improving our services, preventing abuse, and ensuring security, provided these interests do not override your rights.
  • Consent: Where you have given explicit consent (e.g., for analytics cookies or marketing communications).
  • Legal obligations: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. When we transfer data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law.
