A normal loop places the same clip back to back. That is fast, but the cut can be obvious when the last frame does not match the first. A seamless loop adds a short transition that guides the end of the clip naturally back to the start.
LoopVideo gives you both options in one workspace. The standard repeat preview runs in your browser and does not require an account. The AI transition requires sign-in and uses one paid credit, or your one-time free trial.
1. Choose a loop-friendly source clip
Short clips with a stable camera, consistent lighting, and motion that can continue naturally usually produce the cleanest result. Avoid large scene changes between the beginning and end when possible.
For a different composition, crop the video frame before generating. To keep the whole picture but change its dimensions, resize the video with the original aspect ratio preserved. Download the edited MP4 and upload it to the loop workspace; these tools do not select a shorter time range.
2. Upload and preview a standard repeat
Open the LoopVideo workspace, select a video, and choose how many times to repeat it. Video processing for this standard preview runs in your browser. Compare the end-to-start cut in the Before and After previews before downloading.
3. Generate an AI transition when the cut is visible
Choose the AI seamless option if the ordinary repeat still jumps. LoopVideo extracts boundary frames, sends those frames with a fixed internal prompt to its video-generation provider, and then joins the returned transition to your original clip in the browser. You do not enter a text prompt in this workflow.
4. Review before publishing
Watch the complete result at least twice. Check for sudden subject changes, warped details, or a noticeable speed shift around the join. If needed, trim the source clip in another editor or try a different start and end moment before generating again.
For an animated image, convert the reviewed video to GIF. Choose a modest width and frame rate; GIF has no audio and conversion alone cannot fix a visible end-to-start jump. The full GIF workflow is in how to make a seamless looping GIF.
